LOLA JOHNSON - CORPUS CHRISTI, TX

     Lola Johnson is a kite spot located on Laguna Shores Rd. in Corpus Christi.  This location is best on the prevalent SE, and ESE winds but can be ridden on N, and NW winds as well as a direct East.  The actual launch area is partially submerged land mass that is accessible form Laguna Shores Rd..  
     This launch is frequented by a local group of kiters headed by the owner of the home located just in front of the launch. The home at the street in front of the launch is private property, and do not park or access the launch through their property or go on the property for any reason, even if you may see other kiters use that access.  
    Also, be careful of spoil island and nesting bird sanctuaries that are located near the launch site and have been designated as such by signs erected on the islands.
