Grassy Point is a main land launch located at the end of Laguna Shores Rd. in Corpus Christi. This is the only pay kiteboarding launch site in the area with daily use costing $4/day and a yearly pass of +/-$100 paid at the marina office. The prevalent winds are SE and ESE with consistent winds throughout the year as well as being rid-able during the fall, winter, and early spring months during N, NW, and NE winds.
The riding conditions are very good as the depth is about thigh to waist high depending on tides and from this spot you have access to miles of open riding area and several ride to / boat to only spots. Please be respectful of nesting bird areas and do not land or ride near sites that have been designated as such.
