2 HOUR INTRO TO KITE ON LAND- $100

During this two hour land based lesson you will be introduced to the sport of kiteboarding through an instructor led discussion on kiteboarding safety, wind theory, launch site safety, and different types of equipment and set up. Then the student will get the hands on experience of actually setting up a kite to fly, and be able to fly a trainer kite, all under the guidance of an experienced Instructor. 

Student will learn the following skills / information during the INTRO TO KITE lesson
  • Elements of Kiteboarding 
  • Safety / Risk Assessment
  • Anatomy of Wind Window / Wind Awareness
  • Equipment Types & Set-up / Break Down  
  • Kite Flying / Control w/ Trainer Kite  
  • Assisted Launching and Landing 
  • Kiter Etiquette / Hand Signals                                                                          
  •  Want to bring a friend? Or significant other?  Bring them along to share the experience, multiple students are welcome.         
  • All equipment is provided by 361KITE, students need only bring sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, and any liquids/water.
